If so, this group may be a good fit for you. The group is designed for psychologically aware members who want to look closely at what is getting in the way of more meaningful, satisfying work and personal relationships.
This process-oriented group is designed for the unique needs of therapists in training and at the start of their careers. It offers a safe environment for personal and professional growth. Learn more about the healing power of group interaction, increase your interpersonal skills and enhance your self-awareness as an individual and as a therapist.
Note: These groups are designed for therapists who are interested in working on their own issues and have been in, or are currently in, individual therapy.
ABOUT THE GROUP LEADER
Ann Steiner, Ph.D., M.F.T., CGP. , Certified Group Psychotherapist, has been leading psychotherapy groups for 28 years, supervises, trains and consults to therapists. She is a licensed marriage family therapist in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Northern California. She is a Fellowand Board Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Society, was president of Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society, a founding member of the American Orthopsychiatric Association's Disability Study Group and the National Registry of Group Psychotherapists. She co-led the first therapy group for therapists in Northern California in the 1980's. Dr. Steiner served as an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of California Medical School, San Francisco for fourteen years, and is a Faculty and Committee Member of The Psychotherapy Institute's Group Therapy Training Program. She lectures at professional meetings nationally and locally, and writes for consumers and therapists.
